There's signs on the road from Peniche to Consolação. Also known as Praia do Medão

How does the beach look like ?

Long strech of beach. The best waves are in the middle of the beach.

How are the waves ? (direction, type and quality of the waves only)

Tubular beach break, also known as the Portuguese Pipeline. Works best with north winds, predominant in Portugal. South swell is better.

How is everything else ?

Peniche is a fishing town. If you want to stay in a surfing atmosphere, you can stay in Baleal, about 3km north.
