Access to the spot ?
Follow the road to Figueira da Foz city, you can find the spot at the mouth of the Rio Mondego (south side)
How does the beach look
like ?
A huge breakwater runs out to the sea at the southern mouth of the Rio Mondego. The beach water quality could be poor sometimes, due to the proximity of the river. Nice beach for surfers only!

Breakwater with sandbanks, the best conditions are with medium swells, and offshores in easterly winds. Currents help produce a nice sandbank perfectly angled to produce fast and hollow right-hand waves. The Cabedelo wave breaks anywhere from half a metre to 8-10 foot.
How is everything else ?
You can find some crowd here, but NO localism way of live! Great Surf Scene with Great People there. To sleep, find some cheap spots on the city (Figueira da Foz), there are plenty!
