By train:
Paris-Quimper=4h30
Rennes-Quimper=2h
By car:
From Rennes to Quimper it's about 200 km (N24/N165), follow the road to pont-l'abbé then to Plomeur. Just outside Plomeur take first road at the right in direction of "la pointe de la Torche", then on the left of "la Pointe de la Torche" you have a long beach break calles Pors Carn.
How does the beach look
like ?
Large sandy beach
(not far from the famous beach break of "La Torche", less crowdy !
How are the waves ? (direction, type and quality of the waves only)
Good when the tide is high,

The spot works well most of time during the year, almost in winter.

Lot of campings and restaurants can be find close to the beach.
