Rip Curl Pro Super Series WQS: Round 2
It was worth waiting…
After 2 lay-days, the competition went on with some great performances from our favorite champions.
Abdel El Harim won the tricky heat 1 against some experienced surfers. Ben Dunn posted a 8.77 ride and then a 7.17 on his final wave to secure first place in heat 2 with a two-wave combined heat score of 15.94 points.
The action continued to heat up when Heat 3 hit the water as Reunion Island’s Jeremy Flores (FRA) exploded to post the day’s highest heat score (16.50 points). A star is born?
Today, besides the wind, the game is on.
