    Surf Kultura

    Surf news — emmanuel
    May 22, 2006 @ 2:03 pm

Surf Kultura, a very good surf blog, has recently launch a project to edit and register surf, skate and windsurf spots all around the world. You just have to tagg them.
We are really pleased to see that different projects like Wikiriders and Surfkultura has been released. That means this kind of website provides good informations and services to the surf community. As both have different advantages and features, everyone will have the possibility to switch between them. For exemple, most spots on wikiriders are in English, on surf kultura atlas, most of them are in Castillan or Spanish.

I think that more information and contents are released on the web, better it is for everone :).

Thanks for the post emmanuel. You bring up an interesting issue.

Should the user be able to add the information in the language he or she wants? Of course. In this sense the surf atlas in surf kultura is opened to anyone who would like to add a spot in any language.

Because the interface is in spanish you need to know a bit of it to be able to add the spot. We will add english too.

It will take time, i don“t have all the resources and contacts that Rip Curl has ;-)! In any case it is a great idea that a brand (or someone within the brand) believed in this. That means a lot.

    Regards
    SK
